On 16 February 2018, the Australian High Commissioner to Ghana, H.E Andrew Barnes joined by Geodrill CEO, Dave Harper representing the Australian Mining Community, together with two Ghanaian legends: WBC Boxing hall of fame Azumah Nelson and  renowned High Life musician Kojo Antwi to donate a cheque of 160,000 Ghana Cedis to DUNK (Developing Unity Nurturing Knowledge) an NGO aiming to empower the children and women of Ghana’s deprived communities with Sports, Education, Life Skills and Vocational training. The funds were raised at Melbourne Cup Charity event held at the Australian High Commission in Accra. During the presentation, H.E Barnes wished DUNK all the best with their endeavours and thanked all Supporters of the Melbourne Cup, in particular, the Australian Mining Community at large for their unwavering support of youth sports and education programs in Ghana.
