Geodrill Ghana Ltd built a borehole water infrastructure for free for nonprofit Pearl Safe Haven’s shelter for female survivors of gender-based violence. The borehole water supply infrastructure will provide potable water for the shelter, which is currently under construction. Managing Director of Geodrill Ghana Mr David Harper said the assistance was part of the company’s CSR, which prioritizes support for the socially vulnerable. Mr. Harper recalled that since the established of Geodrill Ghana in 1998, the company has made available its expertise and resources to support several initiatives that promote positive change in society. The CSR projects have included provision of power generators and borehole underground water systems to local communities, schools and orphanages in Ghana.
