Geodrill Ghana as part of its corporate social responsibilities and ESG program has donated apprenticeship materials worth GHS10,000 (Ten thousand Ghana cedis) to the Womens’ wing of Ghana Society of Physically Disabled - Bekwai Municipal branch.
The items included 10 electric (multipurpose) sewing machines and 10 bundles of Polyester fabric.
Presenting the items, Geodrill representatives Richard Kofie and Felix Owusu-Twum entreated the Leaders of the Society to set up a training centre to train members to acquire the necessary skills for their livelihood. He said the training Centre would benefit many of their members and may also attract other corporate organisations or benevolent individuals to come to the aid of the association.
Felix (Administrative Officer of Geodrill) also encouraged the association Executives to take good care of the equipment to be able to serve future members of the Association. He assured the Association of Geodrill’s support if they are able to set up the training Centre.
